Born from a real problem we all face
Budget Blossoms began in a mom-and-pop restaurant in Lubbock, Texas. Lisa was reviewing the end-of-shift sales report and crunching the numbers for the coming bills while the servers talked over the day's tips and finished their closing side work. Another slow day had all of us thinking about our cash flow, and wishing we had the savings cushion we always talked about but never actually started. It was time for a change.
During the next slow shift, Lisa put together the first budget binders for herself and the girls. It didn't take long to see that they weren't just fun. They actually worked. Everyone needed one, and the idea was born.
